The rumor mill is getting hot. The president is in big trouble this time.
Because Joe Biden has been told to “step aside” in this stunning betrayal by a top Democrat operative.
A 2020 Democrat presidential candidate and businessman, Andrew Yang, blasted President Joe Biden and the party’s establishment on Saturday for what he saw as a discrepancy between their words and deeds on the state of democracy in the United States.
Yang brought up Biden’s remarks from Friday, where the president characterized Trump and his followers as a possible authoritarian danger to the nation’s institutions, and the continuous efforts by the Democratic Party system to omit prospective rivals to Biden from the ballots for the primary elections. Three states’ primary ballots will feature only Biden as a certified candidate. Biden’s most notable non-Republican opponent, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., claimed the Democratic primary was “rigged” before declaring his independence and running for president.
“Look I vastly prefer Biden and would never vote for Trump. But saying you’re defending democracy while suppressing a primary in your own party is ridiculous,” Yang shared with his followers on Twitter, now known as X.

Even though the Democratic primaries in 2020 were very contested and featured a wide variety of candidates, Biden is almost certain to be the lone contender in North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee.
Several of Biden’s opponents, though, look to be participating in contested primaries in other states. Some of these states include South Carolina, Michigan, Arkansas, and California, as well as several other critical states.
South Carolina will now be on the calendar before New Hampshire since the Democrat Party endorsed Joe Biden’s suggestion to rearrange the order of the 2024 primary contests. Some see Biden’s plan as an effort to appeal to the party’s more diverse voter base, while others see it as a scheme to strengthen his campaign in South Carolina, where he is more likely to do well than in the early states of the election cycle, such as Iowa and New Hampshire.
Many New Hampshire and Iowa authorities were upset by the reordering, so Biden will not be able to run for the New Hampshire primary—but he has a chance to win it as a write-in candidate.
Addressing the three-year mark since the events that took place in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, Biden stated, “Whether democracy is still America’s sacred cause is what the 2024 election is all about.” He was speaking at a ceremony at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, on Friday.
“The choice is clear. Donald Trump’s campaign is about him, not America, not you. Donald Trump’s campaign is obsessed with the past, not the future. He’s willing to sacrifice our democracy to put himself in power. Our campaign is different.”
Even though several recent surveys have shown that Americans are not confident in the economy or Biden’s mental capacity for another four years in government, the incumbent looks to be well-positioned to secure the party’s nomination without a serious rival. Some surveys even predict that Biden is losing ground to Trump in the popular vote, while other polls have revealed that he is losing support among voting blocs that are usually solidly Democratic.
So far, Biden and his team have used language that portrays Trump’s possible reelection as an attack on America’s democratic values to bolster support for their own run for office.
In a post on X on Tuesday, another contender, Dean Phillips, said, “Democrats suppressing competition, suppressing voters, and suppressing debate. In America. Coronating an unelectable candidate and disenfranchising voters enables the erosion of democracy itself.”

On the other side, Donald Trump seems to be storming his way back to another Republican nomination for president as he leads the Republican field by double digits.
His polling in a hypothetical matchup against Joe Biden, again, continues to improve as the weeks and months go by, leading many polling experts to believe that this may be Trump’s election to lose.
