And Joe Biden’s latest Tweet has all hell breaking loose.
For the most part, Democrats like to hide their ideology under more palatable terms.
Abortion is “women’s healthcare,” releasing convicted murderers back to the streets is “giving a second chance,” and destroying the southern border’s security is “welcoming the stranger.”
One of their most famous euphemisms is “if it saves just one life” or “commonsense gun control.”
Of course it’s meant to mask the fact that they want to take law-abiding Americans’ guns from them.
But they’ve long since dropped that mask and come out in the open to tell us they plant to confiscate our guns.
Joe Biden just left no room for doubt thanks to his latest Tweet.
President Biden wants Congress to adopt a federal ban on “assault weapons and high-capacity magazines” similar to the one he assisted in enacting in 1994.
On Twitter Wednesday evening, Biden stated that he was “determined” to see such a ban through and urged Congress to “finish the job.”
“I am determined to once again ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines,” the president wrote. “I led that fight in 1994. For the ten years it was in place, mass shootings went down.”
“Let’s finish the job and ban assault weapons.” he added.
Biden’s tweet referred to a 1994 statute that prohibited the manufacturing, transfer, or ownership of “semiautomatic assault weapons” (SAWs) and “large capacity ammunition feeding devices.” for ten years. It officially expired on September 13, 2004.

In the aftermath of numerous mass shootings this year, Biden has revived his push for a ban on “assault weapons” a frequently ambiguous term he and other Democrats have largely used to refer to the AR-15.
His most recent appeal to action came after a visit to the site of a January mass shooting at a dance studio in Monterey Park, California, in which 11 people were slain.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the shooter carried a modified 9-millimeter MAC-10, which is normally banned under state law, and a Norinco 7.62 x 25 semiautomatic handgun was found near his body.
“Do something. Do something big,” Biden urged Congress on Tuesday while visiting the suburban Los Angeles community. “I’m determined to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.”
The president also signed an executive order tightening background checks for firearms purchases.
“Let’s be clear, none of this absolves Congress from the responsibility of acting to pass universal background checks, to eliminate gun manufacturers’ immunity from liability,” Biden said at the time.
