Just one day after authorities stopped 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen from carrying out a deadly attack on Trump admin officials at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, DC, Trump sat down for what should have been a straightforward interview.
Instead, O’Donnell chose to amplify the shooter’s hateful accusations, reading straight from the alleged manifesto that branded the president as a r*pist and a p*dophile.
“The so-called manifesto is a stunning thing to read, Mr. President,” O’Donnell stated.
“He appears to reference a motive in it. He writes this, ‘Administration officials, they are targets. And he also wrote this — ‘I am no longer willing to permit a p*dophile r*pist and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.’”
Trump’s response was swift and unfiltered. He called out O’Donnell and her network for their obvious bias, labeling her a “horrible” person and a “disgrace” for giving airtime to such deranged nonsense on national television.
The president made it clear he saw the move coming, predicting that legacy media outlets like CBS would jump at the chance to smear him with the words of a disturbed individual.
“Yeah, he did write that,” Trump said. “I’m not a r*pist. I didn’t r*pe anybody.”
O’Donnell responded, saying, “Oh, you think he was referring to you?”
