DHS Inspector General report uncovers Joe Biden’s sick abuse of power

And now a DHS Inspector General report uncovered Joe Biden’s sick abuse of power.
On Monday, Homeland Security Inspector General Joseph Cuffari confirmed that his office is investigating the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) over allegations that disaster relief assistance was withheld from Trump supporters.
Cuffari’s statement was in response to a request made by House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Chair Sam Graves (R-MO) and Representative Scott Perry (R-PA).
The two lawmakers had asked for an investigation into FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington’s instructions to “avoid homes advertising Trump” in Lake Placid, Florida.
This directive reportedly led to at least 20 homes being skipped for disaster relief, and Washington was fired after The Daily Wire first reported the issue.
In his letter to Graves and Perry, Cuffari made it clear that his office was taking the matter seriously.
“I share your sentiments that any disaster funding provided by Congress must be made available to all affected and that it cannot be conditioned or delayed based on political views,” he wrote.
Cuffari also detailed the scope of his office’s investigation.
“On December 17, 2024, my office initiated an audit of FEMA’s Assessment of Community Trends,” he explained.
“The objective is to determine how well FEMA followed its policies and procedures when addressing safety concerns and determining community trends that impact disaster survivor assistance in response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton.”
Washington, the FEMA supervisor at the center of the controversy, had defended her actions by claiming that her directive was in line with FEMA’s “community trends” policies.
However, this explanation did not appease the lawmakers who raised concerns over what they described as potentially politically motivated decisions.
In their December 3 letter, Graves and Perry referenced reports from North Carolina, which indicated that FEMA field teams were bypassing homes with Trump-related signage.
“If the FEMA field team encountered three or more of these signs, the field team could abandon the entire neighborhood without notifying hurricane victims of assistance available to them,” the letter read.
The lawmakers also noted that signs such as “Make America Great Again,” “Drain the Swamp,” and “Don’t Tread on Me” were part of the issue.
Cuffari thanked Graves and Perry for their involvement in bringing the issue to light.
“We greatly appreciate the information you provided, as it aided our decision-making process,” he wrote.
He also extended an offer to brief the lawmakers on the results of the audit.
“I will be glad to share the results of this audit, future reports on this topic, or any of our numerous projects, with you if you would like to schedule a briefing with me,” Cuffari added.
Meanwhile, FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell weighed in on the situation, calling the incident in Lake Placid “isolated.”
However, she confirmed last month that multiple federal investigations are ongoing into potential instances of discrimination within the agency.
These investigations are exploring whether FEMA’s actions in certain areas may have been influenced by political bias.
