Foreign policy is one of Biden’s biggest weaknesses. The Afghanistan calamity completely exposed that weakness of the Biden admin.
Now Joe Biden’s attended a closed-door fundraiser and made one comment that could put the U.S. at war.
Americans all across the country have been sick of the war games being played by U.S. Presidents like George Bush and Barack Obama.
Their goal was never to bring troops home or prevent wars.
It was always to get involved in more needless wars.
So when Donald Trump came along and actually stuck to his word that he wouldn’t get America involved in any more wars, it was a breath of fresh air.
At first, Joe Biden tried to keep that same energy by largely staying out of the affairs of other countries.
But then the Afghanistan disaster happened in July and August of 2021 and the Biden administration was viewed as weak and disorganized when it came to foreign policy.
Biden’s tried to flip the script on that but has made the error of swinging too far to the other side of the spectrum.
He now bankrolls Ukraine with billions in taxpayer dollars and even threatens to go to war with China if they invade Taiwan. It’s a completely different tune he’s singing.
Many have been wondering how Biden would handle the latest news out of Russia that Putin would be willing to use nuclear warfare to get his way in the Ukraine war and elsewhere.
Well, apparently his plan isn’t much of one at all.
Attending a fundraiser at the home of James Murdoch, the former CEO of 21st Century Fox, Biden simply warned the other attendees that Putin was “not joking” about using nuclear warfare.
“(For the) first time since the Cuban missile crisis, we have the threat of a nuclear weapon if, in fact, things continue down the path they are going,” Biden said at the fundraiser
“We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis.”
“We are trying to figure out what is Putin’s off ramp? Where does he find a way out?” Biden added.
That sounds like Biden doesn’t really have a plan to deal with Putin’s threats at all.
It’s as if Joe Biden and the Democrats believe there are only two options with regard to Russia and other international threats.
Either do nothing or go to war.
Ironically, the Democrat Party has long claimed to be the Party of diplomacy when it comes to foreign policy.
But diplomacy has been severely lacking in the Biden administration thus far.
