Democrats are stooping to new lows. And they’re ending up behind bars.

And now a House Republican was run off the road by a deranged Democrat.

Antisemitic Attack on Congressman Highlights Safety Concerns

Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio), a Jewish Republican and former Marine, narrowly escaped harm on June 19, 2025, when an individual waving a Palestinian flag attempted to run him off the road in Rocky River, Ohio, about 10 miles west of Cleveland.

Miller, in a video posted on X, described the assailant as an “unhinged, deranged man” who shouted “death to Israel, death to me” and threatened his family.

“Thank God my daughter was not in my vehicle or anybody else at the time,” he said.

The incident, reported to Capitol Police and local authorities, highlights the rising tide of antisemitic violence in the U.S., with the Anti-Defamation League documenting 9,354 incidents in 2024—a 344% surge over five years, averaging over 25 daily attacks. Miller’s resolve to continue his work, backed by President Trump’s law-and-order stance, contrasts with Democrats’ failure to curb such hostility, fueling Republican arguments for stronger action.

Miller Stands Firm Amid Democratic Inaction

Miller, representing Ohio’s 7th District, vowed not to be intimidated, stating, “I will not hide in the face of this blatant antisemitic violence.”

He urged civility, saying, “If you have an issue with a legislator … the appropriate thing to do is to reach out to them for a phone call, to set up a meeting at one of our district offices.”

The assailant’s identity is known, and Miller assured, “He will face justice.”

The incident highlights a pattern of political violence, which Republicans, including Trump, have consistently condemned. Democrats, like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, issued a joint statement denouncing the attack: “We condemn in the strongest possible terms the attack on Congressman Max Miller and his family and are thankful they are safe.”

Yet, critics, as noted in a June 20 Fox News report, argue Democrats’ lenient policies on crime and protests have emboldened such acts, leaving lawmakers vulnerable.

Trump’s Leadership Bolsters Public Safety

The attack on Miller comes as Trump’s administration prioritizes security, evidenced by the zero illegal immigrant releases in May 2025, a 93% drop from May 2024’s 117,905 apprehensions, per The Post.

This contrasts with the Biden era’s perceived laxity, which Republicans link to rising unrest, including antisemitic incidents.

The ADL’s 2024 data shows one anti-Jewish attack per hour, a crisis Miller’s ordeal personalizes.

Trump’s support for law enforcement and decisive measures, like increased Capitol Police funding reported by Breitbart in June, aligns with Miller’s call for justice. Democrats’ belated condemnation, while welcome, rings hollow to Trump supporters who see their past rhetoric as fanning division.
