Donald Trump made it clear he likely won’t be eyeing another run in 2028 if he doesn’t clinch the 2024 election against Vice President Kamala Harris. Speaking with Sharyl Attkisson, Trump confidently expressed, “No, I don’t. I think … that will be it. I don’t see that at all,” when asked about a third bid for the presidency. Always hopeful, though, he added, “Hopefully, we’re gonna be successful.”
Since 2016, Trump has been the heart of the GOP, redefining the party with his unapologetic America First agenda. At 78, should he hypothetically consider another campaign, he would still be younger than Biden, 81, who has become the face of America’s decline as the oldest sitting president in U.S. history.
Despite media polls showing Trump neck-and-neck with Harris, we all know Trump has a habit of outperforming those skewed surveys. He proved the critics wrong in 2016, and there’s no doubt he could do it again.
“I was a very consequential president,” Trump reminded viewers during his interview on Sinclair’s Full Measure, boldly adding, “and would certainly be, and maybe even more so this time.”
Trump, more than anyone, knows how to navigate the treacherous waters of global politics, saying, “I understand countries, I understand who rips us and who doesn’t.”
While his entrance into the 2024 race didn’t initially deter some challengers, Trump swiftly bulldozed through a crowded field and easily secured the GOP nomination. His political dominance remains unmatched.
Reflecting on his time out of office after the questionable 2020 election results, Trump saw the silver lining. “It would have been easier if I did it, you know, contiguous,” he mused.
“But the benefit is more than anything else, it shows how bad they were. It shows how bad this radical left liberal crazy philosophy is.” Indeed, his absence has only highlighted the disastrous policies of the Left.
Few presidents have sought a non-consecutive return to the White House, but Trump’s unique place in American history puts him in the company of leaders like Ulysses S. Grant and Theodore Roosevelt. Only Grover Cleveland managed to reclaim the presidency, but if anyone can pull it off again, it’s Trump.
Trump had initially been positioned for a historic rematch with Joe Biden, but Biden bowed out in July — likely recognizing the political tsunami Trump is about to unleash.
During a recent interview with Lex Friedman, Trump jested that he “lost by a whisker” in 2020, though he later clarified he was being sarcastic. The truth is, millions of Americans still believe he never truly lost.
Despite constant threats and even recent assassination attempts, Trump remains unshaken. “I think that I will feel safe. I think I’m going to feel safe,” he stated boldly. “I can’t be scared, because if you’re scared, you can’t do your job.”
Just last Sunday, a suspect was apprehended near Trump’s West Palm Beach golf club after Secret Service agents spotted a rifle. But even in the face of danger, Trump continues to stand tall, praising the bravery of the agents who protected him.
When asked about his health and staying active, Trump joked that golf seems to be “quite a dangerous” sport for him these days. However, his focus remains on bigger accomplishments — like his role in the historic Operation Warp Speed.
While Democrats try to hijack the credit for the COVID-19 vaccine, Trump was the driving force behind cutting red tape and delivering it at record speed.
“Overall, I think I did an amazing job with COVID. I never got the credit for it,” Trump declared, once again exposing the media’s refusal to give him the recognition he deserves.
Trump’s return to the political stage feels inevitable, and his message is clear: America needs him now more than ever.
