The attempts on Trump’s life are unsettling. Americans want answers.

And now a Secret Service agent has admitted the disturbing truth about the Trump assassination attempts.

Naturally, after Donald Trump survived a second assassination attempt while trying to squeeze in an impromptu few rounds of golf, the American people started raising questions about how this could happen again after what happened in July at his Pennsylvania rally.

It’s shocking that another psychopath got so close to being able to take Donald Trump’s life just seven weeks after the first attempt that saw Trump’s ear get nicked and a rally attendee lose his life. Some are wondering if it’s possible that the Secret Service isn’t just making mistakes.

Is it possible that the Secret Service is intentionally making these mistakes to let Donald Trump be vulnerable? It’s hard to ignore this possibility, and at least one Secret Service agent seems to think it needs to be investigated as a real explanation for these extreme mistakes.

A former Secret Service agent made serious allegations on Tuesday, claiming political bias has infiltrated the agency after a second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Speaking on The Ingraham Angle, Richard Staropoli, a former Secret Service agent, accused the agency of allowing “personal political feelings to permeate the senior most levels” of leadership. He suggested this bias might have compromised the agency’s duty to provide nonpartisan protection. Staropoli expressed concern that this partisanship has trickled down to field agents, undermining their ability to safeguard those under their protection.

“Trump describes it as the most dangerous business, a very dangerous business, it shouldn’t be. This is why the Secret Service exists, yet somewhere along the line, they’ve allowed their own personal political feelings to permeate the senior most levels of the Secret Service,” Staropoli told Laura Ingraham. “And that has made its way down to the level of the field agents, the Secret Service is broken. They are not doing their job.”

Trump himself referred to campaigning as a “dangerous business” during a town hall in Michigan on Tuesday, according to USA Today. This event took place just days after Secret Service agents foiled an assassination attempt at Trump’s Florida golf course. The attack follows a previous incident in July at a Pennsylvania rally, where Trump was wounded, and an attendee lost their life.

Staropoli, who has over 20 years of experience in the Secret Service, including assignments with Presidents Clinton and Bush, expressed his alarm over the agency’s recent performance. He emphasized that the Secret Service should have anticipated the threat, especially since the incident took place at a golf course Trump frequently visits.

“The Secret Service with a $4 billion budget and 7,000 employees can’t predict and can’t pre-post an event that’s going to happen on a golf course,” Staropoli said. “That the president not only owns but has been golfing on every Sunday for the last 20 years.”

Staropoli also discussed the earlier assassination attempt, allegedly carried out by Thomas Crooks, pointing to a series of critical missteps by the agency.

“Let’s add in the fact that you exposed the body way too quickly, you contaminated that crime scene and quite simply has any Secret Service agent even interviewed the family what what’s going on here,” he said. “They have left totally unresolved questions and have fed into conspiracy theories that we will be talking about 50 and 60 years from now, this could have all been avoided if the acting director simply would have stepped in front of the cameras right from the outset.”

Following the second assassination attempt, the Secret Service requested a budget increase from Congress. While some lawmakers support increased funding, others are calling for new leadership within the agency.

These Secret Service failures are unprecedented according to experts in the field of security for high-profile individuals. It sounds silly to compare billionaires or celebrities to politicians, but they have in common the reality that plenty of psychopaths are going to want to hurt them just because of how vast their reach is.

Elon Musk and Taylor Swift are going to have top-tier security teams because they know plenty of mentally unwell fans or critics are going to take any opportunity to harm them. You know what Elon Musk’s security team would not allow to happen? They wouldn’t allow a roof to be left insecure within just a couple hundred yards of him giving a speech outside.

How is it that Trump, probably the most popular person in the world, is not given better security than popular celebrities and billionaire CEOs? That’s what Americans want to know. It’s inexcusible.

My advice to Pres. Trump is to bolster your private security.

Not only to fill gaps that USSS continues to leave open, but also to watch the watchers.
