And now the White House is scrambling for answers after these damning documents reached the public.

In the eyes of many, the U.S. president and his administration are not supposed to be playing the partisan political games that are waged every day and night in the legislature in Congress. Unfortunately, it seems with every presidential administration that arrives, the envelope just gets pushed further and further.

It’s so bad now that many Americans believe that Joe Biden and his Democrat lackeys have outright disdain for anyone who doesn’t bend the knee to their agenda. They have a point too when Joe Biden constantly goes around on speech tours to demonize “MAGA Republicans” as a threat to democracy. The biggest threat to democracy, to be clear.

Now there’s more evidence to suggest that the Biden administration is all bought out by the radical Left’s political activism arm.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under President Joe Biden has drawn attention for its staffing choices, with many officials having backgrounds in Left-leaning organizations and advocacy work, particularly in immigration. Records obtained by America First Legal (AFL) shed light on this trend.

Critics have pointed out that the Biden administration’s DHS, while overseeing a surge in illegal immigration at the southern border, has appointed individuals with histories of promoting progressive immigration policies. These officials, according to their resumes and ethics pledges obtained by AFL, have previously been associated with organizations advocating for measures supportive of immigrants, both legal and illegal, within the United States.

Gene Hamilton, AFL’s Executive Director and General Counsel, emphasized that these appointments suggest a deliberate strategy by the Biden administration to reshape immigration enforcement policies. He noted the adage that “personnel is policy,” indicating that the staffing choices within DHS are indicative of the administration’s broader approach to immigration.

“Americans can be sure of one thing: what the Biden administration has done to our borders and our immigration system is no accident,” the senior AFL official shared with reporters on the records.

One notable example is Felicia Escobar Carrillo, currently serving as the chief of staff for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Before joining DHS, Carrillo was involved with the Beacon Fund, where she focused on developing strategies to garner support for immigration reform and facilitate the integration of immigrants and refugees. Additionally, her past involvement with the L.A. Justice Fund and the National Council of La Raza underscores her commitment to immigrant advocacy.

Eva Millona, appointed as DHS’ Assistant Secretary for Partnership and Engagement, previously led the Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) for over a decade. During her tenure, MIRA supported legislation such as the Safe Communities Act and the Tuition Equity Act, aimed at protecting the rights of immigrants, including those undocumented.

Bitta Mostofi, now a senior advisor at USCIS, has a background with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) Chicago chapter. Despite CAIR’s controversial reputation, Mostofi’s association with the organization suggests a commitment to civil liberties and immigrant rights.

Royce Murray, serving as counselor to the Secretary at DHS, has a history of working with organizations advocating for immigration reform, including the American Immigration Council and the National Immigrant Justice Center. These organizations have been instrumental in providing legal aid to immigrants seeking asylum or facing deportation.

Avideh Moussavian, currently chief of the Office of Policy and Strategy at USCIS, has been involved in efforts to implement immigration policies benefiting various immigrant communities, particularly those from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. Her previous roles at the National Immigration Law Center reflect a dedication to defending DACA recipients and challenging restrictive immigration policies.

Moussavian has also been caught for outright calling for the defunding and abolition of ICE, playing into the radical Left’s propaganda surrounding ICE that it’s inherently unethical and racist.

Despite these appointments, the Biden administration has faced criticism for its handling of illegal immigration, with significant increases in migrant encounters at the southern border since 2021. This has fueled concerns about the effectiveness of the administration’s approach to immigration enforcement and border security.

Just during Joe Biden’s short tenure thus far as the president, illegal immigration numbers have been eye-watering for the public to read about. In 2021, there were about 1.6 million illegal migrant “encounters” according to the CBP data available. In 2023 that number shot up to more than 2 million.

That pace is holding steady for the fiscal year 2024 as well. This has all brought immense drug proliferation and a rise in violent crime in many of the southern regions throughout the United States.
