And the FBI just raided this Democrat’s home and now all hell is breaking loose.

According to The New York Times, federal authorities raided the home of New York City Democratic Mayor Eric Adams’ key fundraiser on Thursday, while Adams rescheduled multiple meetings in Washington, D.C.

Brianna Suggs, an Adams campaign strategist, reportedly had her Brooklyn home inspected by officers from the FBI’s public corruption division, which investigates violations of federal law by public officials.

“I heard screaming maybe two or three hours ago,” one neighbor told The New York Post. “I heard helicopters (also) … the house is boarded up.”

An FBI spokesman confirmed to the Times that authorities were visiting Suggs’ home “carrying out law enforcement action.”

According to municipal documents reviewed by the Times, Suggs has raised almost $2.5 million for Adams’ 2025 re-election campaign, which has paid her and her political consulting firm, Suggs Solutions, nearly $100,000.

The business paid Suggs more than $50,000 during his first mayoral campaign.

Suggs also received $100,000 from Striving for a Better New York, a political action organization that favors state politicians who support Adams’ policies, according to the source.

Suggs also received more than $16,500 in personal payments from Adams’ accounts, according to campaign finance reports examined by the Post.

Adams’ 2021 campaign spokesperson Vito Pitta told the Post that the campaign “has always held itself to the highest standards.”

“The campaign will, of course, comply with any inquiries as appropriate,” Pitta said.

A spokesperson for Adams, Charles Kretchmer Lutvak, told the Times that the mayor’s office was uninformed of the raid.

“I’m not aware of that,” Lutvak replied, adding that Suggs was not employed by the city.

Adams left for Washington, D.C., on Thursday morning to speak with Biden administration officials about the massive influx of illegal immigrants in New York City.

The Democratic mayor joined two other left-wing local officials, including Chicago’s Brandon Johnson and Denver’s Mike Johnston, in requesting increased federal cash and quicker approval for illegal immigrants to begin working in their communities.

Adams promised to keep the public updated on his journey to the nation’s capital until he unexpectedly canceled the meetings in order to return to New York City.

City Hall officials refused to explain why.

“The mayor is returning to New York City to address a matter,” Lutvak said in an email to the Times when reportedly asked why the mayor was returning to the city earlier than expected. “These meetings will be rescheduled as soon as possible.”
