The mainstream media has never given conservatives a fair shake. But now they’ve taken it too far.
Because MSNBC uttered one slanderous lie that is sending the GOP into a rage.
Republicans can always depend on the likes of CNN, MSNBC, and NBC to peddle the most outrageous lies.
And Donald Trump knows this better than anyone.
When he first won the presidency back in 2016, the news cycle was 24/7 coverage of an alleged conspiracy between Russia and the Trump campaign.
It didn’t help anything that high-level politicians like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) were saying there is “ample evidence” of collusion.

But it’s the job of responsible media outlets to fact check and be skeptical, not follow DNC talking points.
Their latest attack has come in the form of calling Trump a would-be dictator for a benign comment about the auto industry.
Last week, Trump predicted a “bloodbath” in the auto manufacturing industry if President Biden is reelected.
Trump’s remarks occurred during a recent rally in Ohio on Saturday, when he proposed imposing taxes on Chinese-made vehicles that China would sell to Americans.
Addressing Communist Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Trump stated, “If you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands the way I deal. Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now… you’re going to not hire Americans and you’re going to sell the cars to us, no. We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected.”
Immediately after, the former president said, “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole – that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”
Prominent media covered the comment, with headlines merely suggesting that Trump warned of a “bloodbath” if he did not win.
Politico’s headline read, “Trump says country faces ‘bloodbath’ if Biden wins in November.” NBC News’ headline read, “Trump says there will be a ‘bloodbath’ if he loses the election.” CBS News’ title read, “In Ohio campaign rally, Trump says there will be a ‘bloodbath’ if he loses the November election.”
And the cherry on top of it all is that even after they were called out for their tricks, the mainstream media is still pushing the false narrative.
MSNBC historian Michael Beschloss admitted on Monday that former President Trump’s “bloodbath” remark at a recent campaign address referred to the automobile industry, but compared the 2024 candidate to German dictator Adolf Hitler.
During Monday’s episode of Morning Joe, co-host Mika Brzezinski asked Beschloss if there was a precedent for voters not caring or simply being “uninformed” enough to recognize Trump is using terms “clearly out of the pages” of Nazis.

Beschloss agreed with Brzezinski’s assessment of how fascism and totalitarianism could spread to the United States, drawing parallels between Trump’s election and the elements that led to the Holocaust in Nazi Germany.
He claimed that Trump is doing America a “favor” by not portraying himself as a “smiling” figure appearing to be a “normal” candidate and then utilizing that façade to seize control of the country.
“In a way, Donald Trump has made it easier because when he tells you he’ll be a dictator for a day — we all know that dictators don’t resign after a day. When he uses the word ‘bloodbath,’ yes it was in the context of an automobile industry speech, but he knew exactly what he was saying,” Beschloss added.
