The election is over but questions remain. Especially about Kamala Harris.

Because Megyn Kelly just noticed something about Kamala Harris that no one else has.

Have you ever thought it was strange the way celebrities will gleefully show up for Democrats in election seasons but then completely ignore politics in any other season? They show up to the rallies and give their speeches about how proud of the Democrat candidate they are, and in some cases perform for them if they are pop artists, like Katy Perry.

Well there’s a reason for this. The reason is that the endorsements are all fake. The celebrities don’t actually care about Democrat candidates like Kamala Harris at all, usually. No, they are there for the clout, to virtue signal, and maybe even financial gain. Financial gain, you say? Yeah, it seems odd, but that’s exactly what happens.

Now Megyn Kelly is asking questions about the Kamala Harris campaign’s endorsements from celebrities like Chris Rock and Jennifer Lopez. Were they being outright paid off for endorsements of the Kamala Harris campaign? Megyn Kelly seems to think so.

On a recent episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly raised questions about the authenticity of celebrity endorsements during Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign, particularly calling into question whether some Hollywood figures were paid for their support. Kelly’s remarks came amid growing speculation over the future of the Democratic Party and potential candidates for the 2028 presidential race.

During Harris’s 2020 run, the vice president faced criticism over her close ties to Hollywood and wealthy donors. Celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Beyoncé, and Usher were vocal supporters of Harris, with Winfrey hosting a town hall event for the campaign. However, controversy ensued when reports revealed that Oprah was reportedly paid $1 million for her involvement with the event.

Kelly addressed this issue on her podcast, playing a clip of Harris’s interview with Winfrey and questioning whether other celebrities, such as Jennifer Lopez (JLo) or comedian Chris Rock, had been paid for their endorsements. She went on to suggest that the public was led to believe these endorsements were purely “organic,” but she was skeptical.

“Totally feckless. But by the way, did JLo get a payment for that? Did Chris Rock get a payment for that? Did anybody get paid for these endorsements that we were led to believe were just completely organic?” Kelly asked. “I mean, do we really care? Because they’re all losers. They lost badly and have been rendered utterly powerless and feckless in the eyes of the electorate. Nobody will be asking for their endorsement again. No one smart. I mean, no one who wants to win.”

Kelly’s comments also turned to the future of the Democratic Party and the race for the 2028 presidential election. She noted that, even though the 2024 race had yet to be decided, some Democrats were already positioning themselves as potential contenders for the next election cycle. Kelly pointed to figures like California Governor Gavin Newsom and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as likely candidates who were already making moves in anticipation of the 2028 race.

“It’s funny because there’s already a Democratic primary underway for 2028, believe it or not, yes, there is. It’s people like Josh Shapiro. Gavin Newsom out in California is already organizing his resistance to Trump’s agenda. Good luck, sir. The California liberal has already been rejected resoundingly by the electorate,” Kelly said.

She continued to criticize Newsom, arguing that the California governor’s political views made him a poor candidate for the presidency. “Why would the Democrats be so stupid as to elect another next go around? Your little widow’s peak does not distinguish you that much. It may be hard to believe he’s even more radical than Kamala Harris is,” Kelly said. “His crazy a*s gender stuff is even more radical than hers was. It’s not going to be Gavin Newsom.”

Kelly’s comments come amid reports from Politico that, following Harris’s loss to Donald Trump in the 2024 election, several prominent Democrats, including Newsom, Shapiro, and Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, have expressed interest in running for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination.

According to sources, Newsom has already taken steps to position himself as a leading figure in the party, calling a special session of the California legislature just days after the election to prepare for potential legal battles against a Trump administration.

The Democrat Governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker, also seems to be jockeying for position to be a major candidate for the Democrats when 2028 rolls around. He’s been taking to social platforms like Twitter (also known as X) to wage a war with Donald Trump before Trump has even taken office, as he will this January. That clearly seems like someone who is trying to earn brownie points with the Democrat Party and its voting base.

In any case, Megyn Kelly’s comments point out the real issue the Democrats have right now. They don’t come off as authentic whatsoever. In fact, it would be better for them if they left the celebrity endorsements at the door next time because clearly the critical swing state voters don’t care at all what Taylor Swift or Chris Rock think about the candidates.
