Now Joe Biden’s been caught in a major lie as this heinous crime was uncovered.
One of the points Donald Trump made during his four years was that America needed law and order.
Many Americans resonated with that, especially as they watch big cities crumble due to rampant crime.
The Democrats, on the other hand, peddled the “defund the police” nonsense that’s led to skyrocketing crime rates in regions where police departments are actually being defunded.
Just two years out from the riots over the death of George Floyd, Democrats are now much quieter about their defund-the-police rhetoric, but the damage has been done.
Deep blue, Democrat-dominated cities are facing unseen levels of violent crime.
This time, an innocent Brooklyn, New York teen fell victim to this rise in violent crime.
A 17-year-old Brooklyn, New York girl was reportedly shot outside of the apartment she was living in while she was hanging out with some friends.
Fox News reports:
A 17-year-old girl was fatally shot in Brooklyn, New York, Wednesday evening while sitting outside of her apartment building with a group of friends.
The group was reportedly approached by two suspects on scooters who opened fire, shooting the girl in the face. She was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Later in the Fox News piece, they note that the New York Post reported that this is just the latest victim of a mass increase of shootings in Brooklyn.
In just one day, 16 people were shot in 9 different shootings.
That’s absolutely insane.
While this is happening in New York and other Democrat dystopias, the Biden administration ignores all questions about the rising crime taking place in big cities.
Just last week, Karine Jean-Pierre – the White House Press Secretary – completely ignored Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy and his question about the steady rise of crime across America and whether Joe Biden considers big cities to be safe.
Her non-answer was that it’s not a “yes or no” question. Even though it definitely was.
She just did everything she could to not provide a real answer because we all know that the answer is a resounding “no.”
If Democrats keep ignoring crime, it’s only going to get much, much worse.
We don’t need to defund the police when they are the last line of defense against the violent criminals who are seeking to wreak havoc in our societies.
This is yet another example of how Democrats think their political ideas sound great, but then when the impacts of their policies pop up, it’s a disaster.
