Melania Trump took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing her of attempting to distance herself from the disastrous failures of the Biden-Harris administration.
As the country suffers from mismanagement and weak leadership, Melania made it clear that Harris cannot escape the damage caused by her time in office.
“The record speaks for itself,” the former first lady emphasized during her interview on Fox & Friends, suggesting that Harris won’t be able to undo the harm that has been inflicted on the nation.
“The country is suffering. People are not able to buy usual necessities for [their] families,” she pointed out, making her first televised appearance in two years.
Melania painted a grim picture, noting how America’s challenges under Biden’s presidency are worsening.
“We have wars going on around the world. Soldiers are dying. They were dying under this administration because of weak leadership. The border is open and dangerous. A lot of fentanyl is coming over, k*lling our youth. It’s very hard to see,” she added.
While Melania refrained from directly naming Biden or Harris, her criticism was clear. She stressed that the future of the country lies in the hands of the people on November 5th.
“All [Donald Trump] wants to [do], as he says, make America great again. He wants to make this country prosperous, safe for everybody. He wants to make [the] American dream possible again,” she said with conviction, standing behind her husband’s commitment to restore the nation.
Melania, who endured intense media scrutiny during her time as first lady, is no stranger to being under the microscope. Reflecting on that period, she noted, “Nothing prepared me more to be first lady in front of the world than the fashion industry. It’s glamorous, but at the same time very tough. And, uh, as everybody judges you, looks at you a certain way.” With her characteristic resilience, she added, “It gives you a thick skin.”
Ahead of the release of her memoir, Melania, set to hit bookshelves next month, the former first lady has been offering glimpses into her life’s journey. In one of her black-and-white videos on social media, she confidently defended her past, including her modeling career, showing her comfort in owning her narrative.
In her Fox News interview, Melania shared intimate details about her family, revealing that Donald had hoped for more children beyond Barron.
“I was always perfectly fine with one. And Donald was encouraging to have more,” she recalled. “I know how busy he is. And, I’m in charge of everything. So that’s why. It’s … just perfect.”
She also reminisced about her early days with Trump, reflecting on the moment they first met at a party. “I love the vision that he had and the connection that we had,” she shared. “It was special. It was a connection.”
Melania opened up about the harrowing moments surrounding two high-profile assassination attempts on her husband. Recalling the July 13 attempt in Butler, Pa., she described the shock and confusion she experienced.
“I ran to the TV and I rewind it and I watched it,” she said. Fortunately, the Secret Service informed her that “he will be okay,” and she was able to visit him in the hospital.
As her husband faced these life-threatening situations, Melania stood strong, a pillar of support for Donald. Reflecting on the near-miss of the July 13 bullet, she remarked, “I think something was watching over him. It’s almost like the country really needs him.”
In true Melania fashion, she speaks with quiet confidence and resolve, defending her family and her country, while offering a reminder that America’s brightest days lie ahead if we put the right leadership back in place.
