With the war in Israel heating up, Americans are getting worried. Now we’ve been hit with a game-changer.

And the Pentagon made an alarming deployment that’s taken everyone by surprise.

Defense authorities in the United States have allegedly selected some 2,000 troops from throughout the military to prepare for possible deployment to support Israel in its fight against Hamas militants.

According to The Wall Street Journal, U.S. officials stated that those chosen are not intended to serve in combat, and no ground forces engaged in close-range conflict have been given a ready-to-deploy order.

They would assist Israel as advisors and with medical assistance missions on the ground in Gaza.

According to defense authorities, the selected troops are stationed both within and beyond the Middle East, including in Europe.

Since Hamas started a devastating terrorist attack on Israel on October 7, an estimated 1,400 Israelis have been killed, including over 280 IDF, with an additional 3,200 Israelis injured.

Furthermore, Hamas is thought to have kidnapped nearly 200 people.

According to Iranian officials, Hamas will release prisoners held captive in Gaza, but making arrangements to rescue people is “impossible” due to Israeli shelling.

According to U.S. sources, the American dead toll in Israel has risen to 30, with more than a dozen still missing.

It is unclear how many people are being kept captive in Gaza, despite President Joe Biden’s statement last week that several Americans were among those kidnapped.

“State Department personnel have been in contact with their families,” a State Department official said.

“The U.S. government is working around the clock to determine their whereabouts and is working with the Israeli government on every aspect of the hostage crisis, including sharing intelligence and deploying experts from across the United States government to advise the Israeli government on hostage recovery efforts.”

Officials in the United States have been working to assist Americans in evacuating Israel and the Gaza Strip.

According to The New York Times, an estimated 500-600 Americans live in Gaza, and several who have tried to escape have reported being delayed at the Egyptian border.

U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told ABC on Sunday the Biden administration has a “dedicated team” helping Americans get out of Gaza safely, but noted, “Hamas has intervened in some cases to make it hard for Palestinians, Palestinian Americans and others to be able to travel to the border crossing and get through.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken has traveled to the Middle East to meet with Israel and other countries in the region to discuss the terrorist attacks and find ways to prevent the fighting from spreading, as Israeli forces exchange fire with Hezbollah at the Lebanon border and Iran threatens a regional conflict if “aggressions do not stop.”

We don’t know about you, but it feels like we are slowly moving towards war.

And with Iran threatening “preemptive action” against Israel, the next couple days are going to be critical.
