One photo of Vice President Harris has raised everyone’s eyebrows
Kamala can’t keep her name out of the news. It’s the only thing she can do if she has any hope of winning.
And now one photo of Vice President Harris has raised everyone’s eyebrows.
Vice President Kamala Harris is back in the media spotlight, this time gracing the cover of Vogue as part of a puff piece on her “race to the finish” in her presidential campaign.
As usual, the fashion magazine went out of its way to shower Harris with praise, completely glossing over her political missteps and focusing instead on her image.
“It happens only rarely that individuals are summoned overnight for acts of national rescue, but in late July Kamala Harris received one of those calls,” Vogue breathlessly declared, as if Harris were the country’s savior rather than a politician struggling to resonate with voters.
Harris’ supporters were predictably trotted out to sing her praises, with the cover dubbing her the “candidate for our times.”
One voter, Yvette Young, even claimed, “It brought back a feeling that’s been gone for me since Donald Trump came down the escalator.”
Quite the comparison — Trump sparked a movement, while Harris has struggled to connect even with her own party.
Another voter, Tyreisa Williams, said, “I like the way she’s handled criminals and gun law,” though Harris’ record on crime has been widely criticized for its inconsistency and political opportunism.
In typical fashion, Vogue didn’t hold back in fawning over Harris’ appearance, gushing over the navy Chloé suit she wore during the Democratic National Convention.
“The look was military, judicial, stabilizing, powerful: an advance vision of the commander in chief,” the magazine swooned, as if a designer outfit could somehow make up for Harris’ policy failures and gaffe-prone public appearances.
The article even featured former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who, unsurprisingly, had nothing but glowing things to say about Harris.
According to Pelosi, after President Biden dropped out, “It was easy for people to come to her because they knew she didn’t have bad feelings toward them,” as though Harris’ history of alienating both voters and colleagues never happened.
Meanwhile, as Hurricane Milton bore down on Florida, Harris was busy being photographed for Vogue instead of focusing on the crisis.
It’s a fitting metaphor for her priorities — style over substance.
This Vogue profile is just the latest example of the magazine’s Left-wing political agenda. Vogue has previously put Kamala Harris, Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, and Hillary Clinton on its cover, lavishing them with uncritical praise.
Yet Melania Trump, a former first lady with a successful modeling career, was conspicuously absent from the cover during her time in the White House.
As Melania herself said in 2022, “They’re biased and they have likes and dislikes, and it’s so obvious… I have much more important things to do — and I did in the White House — than being on the cover of Vogue.”
A statement that stands in stark contrast to Harris’ obsession with image and photo ops.
