And tragedy strikes the Democrat party after the death of this top Senator.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) passed away on Thursday at 90 years old.

Despite being only a decade away from being 100, Feinstein was still planning to serve out the remainder of her sixth senate term and retire in February.

This announcement shouldn’t surprise anyone however.

In 2022, she stepped away from her role as Senator for three months while she recovered from numerous health battles.

In her later days on Capitol Hill, she would be seen pushed around in a wheelchair by her aides.

According to Breitbart, she was also having trouble remembering the names of her coworkers.

She basically had handlers do her job for her, much in the same way handlers are assisting John Fetterman and Joe Biden.

Earlier this summer, she had an incident during a Senate Appropriations Committee vote where she seemed confused during the voting process. Eventually her staff had to instruct her to vote “aye.”

The downfall of Dianne Feinstein was broadcast in front of the entire world.

Now that she’s passed away, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) will appoint her replacement.

“Yes. Interim appointment. I don’t want to get involved in the primary,” Newsom said in an interview on Meet the Press in September.

“It would be completely unfair to the Democrats that have worked their tail off. That primary is just a matter of months away. I don’t want to tip the balance.”

The passing of of Senator Feinstein creates questions as to if other elderly politicians will retire or continue serving in office.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who is 81 years old has received pressure to step down after numerous health scares this past year.

And President Joe Biden, who’s 80, has certainly collected a heaping of criticism over his age and how it negatively affects his job performance as Commander in Chief.

American citizens are now hoping that the old guard in Washington, D.C. will be replaced with fresh younger faces.
