This might be the dumbest statement to come out of Joe Biden’s mouth
President Biden is a gaffe machine with no “off” button. Anytime he’s in front of a camera, he barely stumbles his way through statements on a teleprompter.
When he goes teleprompter-free, it gets ugly. And this might be the dumbest statement to come out of Joe Biden’s mouth so far.
There’s not a ton of confidence in the capability of our President, to put it lightly.
Even with everything rehearsed and laid out in front of Biden, he can barely get through it without saying something dumb or going off the rails on a tangent that doesn’t make sense.
So when the Biden team announced that he would be making a teleprompter-free appearance to give a speech, everyone knew this would be a doozy.
And boy was it.
There were so many odd moments during his speech, like this one below.

Arguably worse than that, was the flat-out lie he made about guns in front of his viewers.
Biden claimed that rounds fired from AR-15s travel five times faster than rounds out of any other gun.

The reason this might be the dumbest statement Biden has ever made is because he said it with conviction.
He actually got through the statement as if he was completely prepared to spew that lie, expecting it to hit hard.
Anyone who gives the smallest amount of brain energy to that statement knows how idiotic and ridiculous it sounds.
First of all, different calibers have different ranges of speed. The .223/556 round, commonly used in AR-15s, has a muzzle velocity of around 3,000 feet per second (FPS), depending on the cartridge and type of round used.
The .220 Swift is known to reach as high as 4,500 FPS. The .257 Weatherby Magnum is known to reach as high as 3,800 FPS.
Secondly, the AR-15 platform can be used with a variety of different calibers, which is popular today. You could build an AR-15 platform gun in 9mm or even 6.5 Creedmoor.
So there is no set velocity for all round coming from a gun in an AR-15 platform.
Joe Biden knows nothing about guns whatsoever, which is typicaly for Democrats and Leftists.
But you would think they would think twice before saying so stupid as to claim that an AR-15 shoots rounds five times faster than all other guns.
On second thought, maybe their lack of thinking is exactly the problem.
