The Vatican under Pope Francis’ leadership has made it abundantly clear that country leaders and political leaders who proclaim the Catholic faith must not defend abortion under any circumstances.
American Democrats have basically told the Catholic Church they don’t care as they continue to peddle abortion-on-demand through all nine months of a pregnancy, and sometimes even after birth.
Some of these Democrats also proclaim to be “devout” Catholics, like Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden.
President Joe Biden has even gone so far as to claim that he’s had discussions with the Pope and others from the Vatican who told him that it’s okay if he pushes policies that secure federal funding for abortions.
But the Catholic Church put out a statement saying he is straight up lying. They also urged Joe Biden to turn course immediately.
It’s effectively become an order directly from the highest circles of the Catholic Church at this point.
Joe Biden intends to simply disobey. In fact, he doubled down on his defense of abortion in his State of the Union address where he said Congress must codify Roe v. Wade into law since the Supreme Court has effectively overturned the Roe ruling with the Dobbs ruling.
“Here in the people’s House, it’s our duty to protect all the people’s rights and freedoms,” Biden said.
“Congress must restore the right that was taken away {when the Supreme Court overturned} Roe v. Wade.”
Furthermore, Joe Biden has indicated that his administration and the Democrats are seeking ways around the Dobbs ruling so women can get abortions even though the issue has now become a state-level issue at this point if Congress does not act.
“The vice president and I are doing everything to protect access to reproductive health care,” the president said.
Biden’s Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra also told the media that they are looking at a “wide range of measures” regarding abortion.
“There are discussions on a wide range of measures … that we can take to try to protect people’s rights,” HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra said.
A spokesperson for Biden’s HHS also said they are exploring options to “expand access” to abortion.
“We are constantly exploring additional actions we can take to protect and expand access to reproductive health care, including abortion care…” the spokesperson said.
The simple truth is that Joe Biden and the Democrats are drawing a line in the sand that takes them down the path of apostasy.
In the Catholic Church, there’s no defense for abortion whatsoever. But it’s not like Joe Biden and the Democrats are peddling only abortions in the rare cases like when the mother’s life might be at risk.
No, Joe Biden and the Democrats want unfettered abortion in all cases for any reason whatsoever, no matter what. That puts them at direct odds with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
And it’s direct disobedience to the Pope, the entire of the Catholic Church, and everything the Christian faith stands for.
Let it be known that Joe Biden is no Christian whatsoever. He’s wolf in sheep’s clothing.
